Yesterday I was invited in a baby shower ceremony of a cooligue’s daughter. We are a group of 4-5 ladies who were to go to attend this function. I am the youngest in all of them. So generally at such situations, deciding the gift , buying it and collecting contribution becomes my responsibility. Since the time was very less, I could not explore the online buying opportunity. But online sites like First cry and all gave me at least an idea what all kind of gifts can be given to a mother to be on a baby shower. We ,in India believe that nothing related to the baby is to be given on baby shower. But in western countries they generally give gifts related to new born on baby shower. So that option was ruled out. I decided to go and check out 1-2 shops nearby . And I learned that either the maternity apparels are too dingy or they are too pricy for hardly 2 months of use.
